For an initial development retainer — after an approved application — the Indie Coach team will enter into a conditional pitch-ready package with your project for a 5-month engagement.
Subject to a written agreement, you may identify me and one additional seasoned producer as members of the developing production team and include our approved biographies and credentials within your pitch materials.
This is similar to bringing in an expert witness. You are adding professionals who can strengthen the package, participate in investor discussions, and help communicate how the project can move from concept to execution.
We are willing to become involved before the financing is secured because filmmakers often need experienced producers during the fundraising process — not only after the money arrives.
This is a condition of the engagement, not a negotiable outcome. If any money is raised during the 5-month term — by you, our team, or any other member of the project — our conditional attachment automatically converts into a formal full producer relationship. Ron and the team are officially and formally attached as producers on the project. This transition is governed by a written producer agreement executed at the time of engagement, so there are no surprises when money arrives. You are not hiring us to pitch and leave — you are hiring us knowing that if we succeed, we are with you through production and delivery.
We are not acting as brokers, placement agents, or finders. We are not selling securities, accepting investment funds on your behalf, or promising that any investor will finance your project.
